The Italian associations Si puo fare and USMA have launched a methodology for the detection and procedures to deal with possible situations of sexual harassment in sport that may threaten the well-being and integrity of our athletes around the world, especially the youngest ones. The so-called WHISTLE Educational Resources are the result of the multiple studies, testimonies and knowledge gathered before and during the WHISTLE project and are intended to be a point of reference for female athletes in several countries, being adapted and promoted in Greece, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria. The method has been tested for the first time with a team of young female volleyball players in Italy, with very good results.
